Fund members split into teams by industry, recommend and analyze stocks, and complete investment summaries on their chosen equities. Teams then invest in a simulated fund and compete against other TAMID chapters across the nation. The top chapter is eligible to win cash prizes, a Seeking Alpha Pro account, and bragging rights. Fund members are given an introduction to the world of investing and education on fundamental stock analysis and how to pitch a stock, including understanding DCF and PE valuations. Previous stock pitches include companies such as Hanes, Canopy Growth, and Ormat Technologies.
